Skaneateles area a Beach for commercial photography
studio
As most anyone in business
knows, time is money.
With a cluster of clients in
the Skaneateles area, Jonathan Beach decided to move here to provide them
better service. By moving to this area, Beach Photography can be to any one of
his local clients in 15 minutes instead of 45.
Although his Route 20 studio is
new to the area, his studio has worked with companies in Skaneateles for more
than 20 years.
Jonathan has been a
professional photographer for his entire professional career, working first
with his father, who was a commercial photographer before venturing out on his
own.
Today, Jonathan shoots for
primarily commercial and architectural applications with some occasional
portrait and trade show work. His
commercial clients include shooting pictures for advertisements, product
catalogs, brochures, packaging, point of purchase displays and trade shows
primarily coordinated through advertising agencies such as WD Burdick and Chase
Design and manufacturers like Welch Allyn.
The architectural photography
typically is for marketing, presentation and commercial architects such as Ramsgard Architecture and and
King and King. He has also taken
photos for custom homebuilders and landscape architects.
Portrait photography is occasionally
provided for businesses and schools.
Today,
Jonathan runs a fully equipped digital photography studio with camera’s that
range in quality from 6 megapixels for Web sites where images can remain
relatively small to larger format 60 megapixels for larger picture applications
such as billboards and large signs and displays.
Although much of the work is
digital, Beach Photography studio is capable of complete print processing.
Beach
Photography is at 1410 Route 20 in Bob Hood’s building on the west side of
town.
