This Week
– June 18 - Pancake Breakfast Organizational Meeting: Robin Jowaisas will tie all the planning together in the final
prep, making sure everything and everyone is ready to Shake & Bake - Rock
& Roll – so until then
everyone should -------- Sell, Sell, Sell those Tickets!
Jack Priest promises to stop being a “no
show”, be here, & tell some funny stories, but seeing is believing.
Benediction
& Atonement: Karen Veverka, with her prolific writing ability will present
another original invocation for our group. After dinner the good Dr. Patil,
just back from visiting a daughter in Princeton will collect atonement in fines
and happy $$$.
Last Week
– June 11: Club Assembly with a steak dinner, desert, libations, lots of
laughing. No business, save a few announcements. For those who joined in, it
seemed like a good evening, and if anyone claims otherwise, they sure left only
empty plates. For those unable to attend this second in the series, “c’est-la-vie.”
Next Week
– June 25: Understand is there is what’s called a “guard changing” event; guess I
won’t miss that!
Rumor
also has it that inbound exchange student Charly Linden’s mother (and Charly of course)
will be joining us for dinner. Glad to have them both.
Rotary
District #7150: As mentioned earlier, a District
#7150 Changing of the Guard will take place on June 30 at Dibble’s Inn. Contact
incoming governor PJ Scott if you
would like to attend; email - pjscott@twcny.com
, phone - 315.303.4723 home, or 315.529.9902 cellular. An registration form was
emailed and announced previously.
Exchequer
& Preparation: Jim Messenger, John O’Sullivan,
& Bunt Osborne will be the “money
changers” at the door and conduct our weekly 50/50 draw. Next week, the
25th Umesh Patil, Skip
Plank, and Dick Poppa will be on deck. If you will
be among the missing, please get a substitute!
