Spring Service Project / Ball
Diamond Fence Screening: Peter Adams
& David Lee should be ready to begin construction work details as soon
as the weather breaks (assuming spring will once again show itself).
Skaneateles Sunrise Rotary (with its ball field improvement interest) will be
participating along with us. More details by our April 9 Club assembly with actual work to begin as soon as weather
permits.
Benediction & Atonement: Lori Ruhlman will lead us in a thoughtful
invocation while Brad McLlellan will provide some coffer lining
by denting our wallets.
Last Week’s Program: Jacque McConnaghy and Pat Snyder with Skaneateles Outreach
were the evening’s speakers discussing its continuing contribution to our
surrounding community.
This Week’s Program: Straight from a consecutive
third term election Mayor Bob Green
will visit us once again, present a “State of Skaneateles” outlook for the
village and answer related questions. Interestingly, some ball field
improvements were Bob’s suggestion for a Rotary service project a year ago.
Next Week’s Program - April
9:
Monthly Club Assembly (Rotarians only) follows our April board meeting. John O’Sullivan will brief the Club on
his ad hoc committee’s assessment of the SRC / SRF coordination along with some
suggestions for smoothing out and streamlining worthy cause disbursements.
Also, we will have a review with an opportunity for comments and questions of
both our April and March board sessions.
NCAA Quiz Answer: The Utah Jazz’ legendary
guard, John Stockton is the only notable Gonzaga University basketball player
to continue as a professional.
