Of Note: Roberta Williams circulated
a signup sheet for our Rosalie’s March 12 dinner. If you have not signed up and plan to
attend, it’s important to sign up and be counted. We also will need a count of the vegan and chicken meal
options. Please see Roberta with questions or comments.
Last Week’s Program: Auburn Rotarian Mike
Ferro spoke about his “Reva Rollerdrome”,
its history, future and some amusing happening over the years.
This Week’s Program: Bill Conole will
be presenting Lourdes Camp renovation plans.
Next Week’s Program: March 12 we will meet at Rosalie’s Cantina while The
Sherwood kitchen is being renovated.
A sign up for this meeting is necessary and there will be a menu option.
Ward Vuillemot has asked to give us a
brief update on “Books for the World.”
There will be no program as such; a relaxed “enjoy the evening” get
together is in order.
Benediction & Atonement: Karen Price will
be our “Invocator” this week and Lori
Ruhlman will try to keep everyone in smiles as she collects much money from
the mumbling multitude.
Historical “SRC” Memorable
Storage: We are looking for a “service above
self” volunteer and some safe, dry, storage space for our club’s memorabilia
including display banners, old Skantarians, SRC
charter document, etc. A member with a sense of our club’s history and a
volunteer to be Historian would be perfect. If you have some closet space, a
dry basement, or garage space and are able to help please contact Ward Vuillemot.
March Board & Club
Assembly Meetings: A “change” to March 19, 5:00
p.m., & 6:30 p.m., Sherwood Inn.
Spring Service Project: Through Peter Adams’
hard work, planning and coordination with Skaneateles’ town and village
governments we are close to having a good viable spring service / work project.
The plan is to improve safety fencing on some baseball fields near the
Community Center. Town board and village trustee presentations are planned.
Update at Club Assembly on March 19.

D7150 Books for the World - A project to
collect "gently used" children's books for distribution to children
of the world who are without; and to provide an opportunity for Rotary clubs to
work with community organizations to make a positive difference in our world.
A humanitarian, green and Rotary public awareness project! I will
brief the club on significant progress and successes of the BFTW efforts at our meeting on March 12. In the mean time,
