PANCAKE
BREAKFAST / “Our” Main Event: As Robin Jowaisas announced last week, please turn all ticket
receipts in “only” to Sue Keefe.
Place money, unsold tickets, and a note with your name and dollar count in a
sealed envelope. Please do not hand her uncounted cash or expect her to recall
who has turned in what. Consider that Sue
will have to not only account for who has turned in how much money, but also
reconcile the returned tickets with dollar receipt and tickets distributed to
each Rotary member. Tough enough, so help out and make the job easier.
Set up and break down times are the mornings of
Friday June 19, Saturday June 20, and Monday, June 22. We all need to contribute
to this “behind the scenes” critical efforts.
Pre-sales are the best sales so please use these “3”
weeks to sell every ticket you can. Contact Robin or Chuck O’Neil for additional tickets. Think work sites,
churches, neighbors, friends, business associates, and of course the P & C Market! Let’s make this the
best breakfast ever. Maybe say a prayer too for “Sunny & Seventy” weather
Sunday, June 21.
Last Week / May 28: Seb Bentivegna
gave a great slide and commentary presentation on Carol’s & his trip to
Brazil.
This Week
– June 4: John Salatte
will give us a look at autism, its costs, and challenges in our schools, what
is being done and what yet needs to be embraced, addressed, and accomplished.
It is an important public education issue.
Next Week /
June 11:
Board Meeting @ 5 P.M. followed by our monthly “members only” Club Assembly
@ 6:30 P.M.
Benediction
& Atonement: While Gary Caldwell will
lead us in an invocation, Mr. Kokosa will lead the atonement effort.
About Town: Congrats to Jack Emmer and the Skaneateles Lakers
boys LAX team on their come from behind win over CBA and of course the girls
LAX team on their own playoff come from behind win over Marcellus. Keep it on
rolling LAKERS!!
Exchequer
& Preparation: Dick Kokosa,
Patti Langley & David Lee
will take our money at the door and insure the meeting room set up is complete.
Next Week Todd May, John May and Bill
McLennan will be the gatekeepers.
If you’ll be among the missing, please
get a substitute!
And Lastly: Jack Hyatt would want all to know his beloved Yankees have gone “18” games without an error, a major league
record. Of course they still cannot seem to beat the underpowered Boston Red Sox.
Barack Obama:
“Spock with global sex appeal.”
Joe Biden: “Chewbacca with fur plugs.”
