Pancake Ticket Sales: Our biggest fundraising
event is a short 3 weekends away. If your packet still has 25 tickets in it
better get cracking, and we are not talking eggs; money in the drawer up front
is our best scenario! Robin Jowaisas & Chuck O’Neil have
been stressing this and they are right to do so.
Sue Keefe will be the gatekeeper /
collector for all ticket money; please turn over your receipts only to Sue, she will also be the tabulator
prior to turning money over to our Foundation.
Early
ticket sales are money in the drawer, and a great insurance policy against a
low turnout for any reason. Let’s be out there selling our socks off! Please
stretch and think of “where else” there are sales opportunities, and there
always are.
Last Week / May 21: Mark Barnes
presented a school counselor’s point of view of hosting exchange students, the
trials, tribulations, and joys. Mark
and his family currently are Bruno deMilo’s host family.
This Week / May 28: Seb Bentivegna will give a presentation on a
trip to Brazil including his photography; rumor has it Brazilian exchange
student Bruno de Milo may be adding
some color commentary. Seb’s
trip presentations in the past have always been great and there is no reason to
believe this will be any different.
Next Week / June 4: John Salattle
will give us a look at autism, its costs, and challenges in our schools, what
is being done and what yet needs to be embraced, addressed, and accomplished.
June 11: Board Meeting will be @ 5
p.m., Club Assembly Dinner Meeting for Rotarians @ 6:30 p.m.
Benediction & Atonement: Jack Emmer will have a short lacrosse “awareness collection
session” for us. His outstanding SHS
Lakers team is scheduled to play
CBA @ 3:30 this Saturday. The best
to you, and your Lakers Jack in the
playoffs!
Exchequer & Preparation: Robin Jowaisas, Ralph Jurgensen
& Sue Keefe will take our money at the door be insure the meeting set
up is complete. Next week Dick Kokosa, Patti Langley, & David Lee will be our
gatekeepers.
