* For detailed board
meeting information refer to the May 2009 board minutes on the SRC web
site:
This Week’s Program: Mark Barnes, a guidance counselor in the Skaneateles school
district will join us along with his wife Charly.
They also happen to be the current host parents to Bruno deMilo, so I’ll expect we are likely to see Bruno also. Mark will be introduced by Lori
Ruhlman and speak on the Rotary exchange experience from his family’s point
of view. We look forward to visiting with all.
Last Week’s Program: If you missed last week’s
assembly dinner meeting you really missed it!
Much
fun, good times, and celebration centering on the completion of this spring’s
service project and newest member, Cheryl
Silvestrini's induction.
A terrific dinner, wonderful camaraderie, and lots of laughter. You do not want
to miss the next impromptu SRC festival. For our one Rotary guest Bob Brown, representing Skaneateles Sunrise, and SRC, it was a
super deal and best evening since Corrine & Bill Buterbaugh’ Valentine’s
Day dinner program.
Next Week’s Program: Seb Bentivegna, aided with commentary by exchange student Bruno de Milo, will present a slide
show on a recent trip to South America’s largest, most populous, exciting, and
prosperous nation, Brazil. As Seb
has proven before with presentations about countries visited, it should be a
enlightening fun evening with great pictures.
Benediction & Atonement: This Thursday, Ed Corcoran saying that he wanted to be
on board 1000% will do an invocation for our group. His atonement companion and
long among the missing Rotarian, Patty
Langley will be fleecing the flock as John
O’Sullivan would proclaim, by prying happy stories and $$$ out of us.
Weekly Set up & Ticket
Sales: Jim Dorris, Art Fellerman, & Jack Hyatt.
Next week, May 28th will be Robin
Jowaisas, Ralph Jurgensen, and Sue
Keefe. Please be at the door or get a
substitute.
