John Shannon jms@mlsattorneys.com
Last Week’s
Program / Club Assembly: Our Spring, 2009 service project was discussed,
reviewed and a sign up circulated for work on the screening around Simms Field
at Austin Park. Doug Rutan
led the discussion while the project will be headed up by Peter Adams and site manager David Lee. Target dates for work
details are April 25, May 2 & 3. Sign up information is sent with this
mailing. Skaneateles Sunrise Rotary will be participating with us!
Robin Jowaisas gave a planning update for our biggest fundraiser,
the Pancake Breakfast, JUNE 21. Once again he has things in hand and
rolling smoothly right along. Bill Buterbaugh will be his understudy in training.
John
O’Sullivan
gave his ad hoc group’s assessment and suggestions for improving and attaining
a smooth system between the SRC & SRF boards. Good questions, comments, and
answers. Great job John, Duane &
Robin.
This Week’s
Program:
Steven Frackenpohl
with the Skaneateles Festival will present an overview of this year’s program which runs from August through Labor Day.
Next Week’s
Program:
Marilyn Higgins, senior V.P. at
Syracuse University for Community Engagement will speak about SU’s efforts at area economic development.
Benediction
& Atonement: Chuck Williams who gave way
last week to Steve Schwartz’ very
time appropriate explanation of Passover’s Seder Meal will present this week’s
invocation. Jack Hyatt continues to
promise to show and collect fines & happy $$$. We will be glad to see you Jack! We all are all feeling very sorry
your Bronx Bombers are not doing their new digs too proud. Don’t worry; they
surely will not slip too far below .500. Oh and how’s A-Rod doing?
