October 30 Attendance & Missing Faces: There were “ 36 ” Rotarians at
last week’s meeting (attendance 69%).
Missing: Adams, Bentivegna,
Gregg, Keefe, May, Moody, Price, Priest, Renner, Tarnow, Veverka, Weaver,
Whalen
Last Week’s
Program: Jack
Emmer gave us a great look at a career as a college coach with some
insights into life’s lessons learned on the playing field and their lasting
effects. Another
terrific classification discussion that was surely worth being there for.
This Week’s
Program: See the attachment invitation for this
Thursday’s meeting at Skaneateles High School. Bring a friend or acquaintance who might be a good Rotary addition to our ranks. Also
should be a fine opportunity to meet this year’s inbound exchange students and
this year’s Skaneateles RYLA winner, Bea Carlson.
Next Week’s
Program: Club Assembly dinner meeting & board
meeting at 5:00 P.M., November, 13th. Rotary member only meeting.
Benediction
& Atonement: Because of our location
this Thursday maybe we should pass on fines and happy $$$ for the week. We do
have a rather special grace / invocvation planned prior to our meal that will
help tie into this week’s events.
Of Note: Dick Kokosa
will miss this week’s program at the high school due to some fairly minor, but
previously planned for and necessary surgery. He’ll be up and around, but
staying home for a few days. He
surely would love to hear from any who are so inclined.
