CFO from the Auburn Memorial Hospital for the outstanding presentation about
the hospital’s financial turnaround plus the addition of new highly skilled
physicians in many medical disciplines.
It was also announced that Auburn Memorial Hospital will
have an association with the Neurosciences Dept. at Strong Memorial allowing
rapid consultation via telemedicine for treatment of stroke and other neurological
conditions. We are hopeful to have
representatives of Auburn Memorial and Strong Memorial back in the early Spring to give us further details of the technology and
systems that save critical minutes in the treatment of stroke.

OCTOBER 25th, 2008 - Rotary Foundation Seminar
Our 2008 District-wide Rotary Foundation Seminar will be held Saturday, October
25th, at The Links at Erie Village in East Syracuse, from 8:00am to 1:00pm. The
cost of $35 per person includes breakfast and lunch. Speakers will share
information about what an amazing difference in our communities and in the
world The Rotary Foundation is making. This is an excellent time to learn more
about our Foundation, why it's important to give, the benefits to you, and how
you can get funding for your Club projects! The agenda for this year's
Foundation Seminar has been put together to present a clear and enthusiastic
view of what the Foundation is all about. Your participation is crucial to the
success of the Seminar and the Foundation.
