News and Notices:

Pancake Breakfast Ticket Sales - At our May 8 meeting, Lee Overstrom our ticket sales chair, distributed bundles of tickets for all Rotarians to sell prior to the Pancake Breakfast on June 15. If you didn’t receive yours, please contact Lee. The expectation as well as the club tradition is that every Rotarian will sell at least his/her allotment of $135 worth of tickets; many venues are available in the next month to accomplish this task, e.g. the Memorial Day parade, the P&C, etc. Just as a reminder, there are two main reasons underlying the importance of pre-breakfast ticket sales. First, if we have a disaster like a weather problem and have to abort the breakfast at the last minute, pre ticket sales will allow us to cover our many thousands of dollars in upfront costs mainly for perishable food. Secondly, pre sales accommodate many in the community who don’t choose to attend the breakfast but wish to support Rotary’s worthy causes. So please hit the streets and sell those tickets. It’s really a lot of fun!
