January is Rotary Awareness Month

January is the month that we put an extra focus on putting Rotary in the public eye with additional press releases, maintaining contact with the local media, AND  a time when WE ALL  should focus on telling our friends and colleagues about the good works of Rotary and OF our club.   We have much to be proud of and to share, and most importantly, much to offer potential Rotarians. Remove the basket from over the Rotary candle, and let it shine!

Rotary Timeline – 1967:  Rotary officially launches the World Community Service program, expanding the ability of Rotary clubs to do good throughout the world. Today, clubs provide an estimated US$26 million in funds and supplies through World Community Service annually.
