12/10/09 : We've had over 5000 (yes, five thousand !!) hits on the Loose Moose site to date and they weren't all me either! It's incredible that so many people have taken an interest. We'd like to thank every one of you personally, so if you all come to the next gig I'm sure Big Kev will buy you all a drink! Actually he probably won't. He's been spending his money again. Can you guess what he's bought yet? Yep, more lights! We now have to give the electricity board notice when we gig so that they can bring another power generator on line to prevent blackouts in the towns we play. Our set looks like a scene from Saturday Night Fever and we have to wear welders goggle to protect our eyes from equivalent of a solar flare's worth of light energy. Unfortunately it also means that Mark tends to get his kit off even earlier now. Sorry ladies!

30/08/09 : It's been quite a busy year so far with some great new (to us) venues to play. It's been great to meet you all and we hope we'll be seeing you through out the rest of the year. Our new stage costumes have been recieved well at the various functions we've played so if you want to see the band looking like over decorated birthdat cakes you'll have to book us for your next function!! Naturally Kev the drummer has been spending money on his endless quest to build the best drum kit in the world. It also probably goes without say that he's also been fidddling with the lighting again so make sure you mention to him how good you think the new lights are - it keeps him happy! Also thanks to the literally hundreds of you who have become our "facebook friends " - it's great to feel wanted. See you at the next gig.

23/02/09 : Well another year is upon us (it has been for a while, I know, but I'm a little slow! The Moose are itching to get gigging again. We have a full year of gigs booked and are looking forward to meeting everyone (and anyone - we're that desperate!). For those of you who will have the dubious pleasure of seeing us at a private function we will be sporting new stage-wear for your delection and delight. Check out our facebook page : (The Moose- Facebook) for the latest photos. Feel free to become one of or "friends" and say hello. We look forward to seeing you at a gig soon. Come and say hello, we don't bite. Well Kevin does but we make him wear a muzzle. See you soon!

04/08/08 : It's been a busy few months on the Loose Moose merry-go-round. We've been gigging all over the place and having a great time, as we always do. It's absolutly fantastic (darhhhhling!!) to play to enthusiastic and appreciative audiences. It never ceases to amaze us at the response we get. It makes it all worth it and is why we do what we do. So a BIG THANK YOU to all of you who come and see us and continue to give us support. Please don't be shy and come and say 'hello' at the gig.
As usual, Kev the Drum has been spending money again! This time it's a drum rack so he can hang all those things he lies hits on it. It looks like a chrome scaffolding pole on a couple of stands, but it keeps Kev happy! Of course, it doesn't stop there. Oh no! He then has to go and buy a very expensive gig bag to put it all in.
Well I'm sure that's all about to stop. We're very happy to announce that Kevin and his long suffering wife Andrea have had a special delivery. Willian George Charlton was born in the early hours of the morning of 22/07/08. The rest of the Moose would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the whole Charlton family on their new arrival.
