Category Image Almost Done


 


So this is my last week at my current job. I will say that the company hasn't run out of ways to remind me why I am leaving. Whatever you think of Star Wars Episode I - III, I am remind of a line about how the bureaucrats have taken over the senate. Think that was in Episode I, anyways that is how it feels at work. Management seems so concerned with process and not in letting people be able to use judgement or do their jobs. They seem to create more obstacles than they enable or facilitate their employees to actually do work. What a crazy place this has become. Of course if it hadn't gotten so bad I would never have looked and found an amazing opportunity on the West Coast. So I guess thanks for letting things get bad. I start out in Silicon Valley on the 23rd, so have a lot to still do to get working on moving. The house work has started, but a lot left to do. A quick trip to Chicago this weekend to see the family and then I have a little over a week to get a big chunk of this house stuff ready for sale. After that, well Kim is going to be a busy girl.
