Books I've written 'The GreenAge Textbook' is a book on environmental issues, with specific reference to Singapore.
This is my first book, published in 1992 by Federal Publications, Singapore. Professor Tommy Koh, the then Chairman of the Preparatory Committee of the UN Conference on Environment and Development (otherwise known as the Rio Summit), kindly wrote a foreword for the book. If you would like to read the book, you can borrow it from the National Library. Sadly, the book is not online, but perhaps one day it shall be. The good news is, however, that I've completed a cyberbook - No Place Like Home. It's a cyberbook about the geography of Singapore. In October 2006, 'No Place Like Home' was selected for inclusion in the National Library Board's 'Web Archive Singapore' - an archive of sites deemed to be of national and historical significance to Singapore's heritage! I also wrote 'One World - The Essential Social Studies Resource'. This book comprises two volumes - Books A and B - and was published in 2002 by Federal Publications. My PhD thesis 'Pictures in Place - Adolescent Usage of Multimedia Messaging in the Negotiation, Construction and Sharing of Meaning about Local Environments' was published in 2006 by Universal Publishers. Here's a flyer about the book, which might help you decide if you'd like to order it.
My most recent book is co-authored with Ooi, Chatterjea and Chang. It is entitled 'Geographies of a Changing World - Global Issues in the Early 21st Century'. It was published in 2007 by Pearson Education.
