The Organization for Film Distributor Accountability (OFDA)
was founded by filmmakers in an effort to keep distributors honest and accountable.  That is any and all film or video distributors from all around the world.

"Let's create a worldwide network of filmmakers that will make the truth on distributors immediately open and available.."

A big problem has come up with distributors who screen our films and profit from them, but feel free to rob filmmakers of their income. Even when there are contracts in place to protect us as filmmakers and to ensure that we get paid, it is virtually impossible to take our distributors to court as the financial burden would far outweigh the gain.  Many filmmakers have similar stories to tell. Thus the need to create a movement that will serve to alert filmmakers and press distributors to become accountable for their actions.

If you are a brave and courageous soul who has made a FILM OR VIDEO, and belong to the lucky few who got DISTRIBUTION, we are sure you have a story to tell about YOUR DISTRIBUTOR. Is it a GOOD STORY, a TRAGIC STORY, a HAPPY STORY, or a MIXED BAG? We want to hear it and the rest of the world wants to read it, right here!

We also plan to be present in film festivals and markets, to create forums and press conferences, and public events where filmmakers tell their stories, and the audience gets to vote on BEST & WORST DISTRIBUTOR.
