Description:   Red eggs means the birth of a new born baby. When a child was born, the parents of the new born baby will send out red eggs to relatives to share the joy. Using the indigo cloth as the background, this painting depicts the red eggs in the rattan basket, the lid with the patterns of fish leans against the basket. The painter is the dean of the academy, his chop is at the lower right corner. This painting won a prize in the Excellent Art Works Exhibition of Chinese Peasant in 1995.
