The Bikram Method

     Bikram yoga is a demanding, 26 pose (asana) series performed in 90 minute. The postures are conducted in safe environment of a heated room to warm up your whole body allowing you to work deep into your muscles, tendons and ligaments, to change your body from the inside out without risking injuries. Every pose is meant to be performed in the given order to the best of ones ability. Bikram yoga is a scientifically designed process that can reduce the symptoms of many chronic diseases, and is an excellent preventive activity for parts of the body that are healthy. The class is designed for all levels, first time students and experienced practitioners alike. In time you will learn to focus your mind and control your breath (pranayama), leading you to work harder, deeper and calmer. As you improve this relationship you will realize the true meaning of yoga: a union of the body, mind and spirit. Each pose is a challenge based on one's personal abilities.

     By the end of a class session, each individual will have worked every muscle, tendon, joint, ligament, internal organ and gland while systemically moving fresh, oxygenated blood to 100% of the body.
