Introduction
Vikki and Terry met via the www.kythera-family.net website. Never having met previously, they discovered that their grandparents were siblings which made them second cousins! They also discsovered that they each had a love for genealogy. Together they have been researching the extended families of their grandparents who came from the small island of Kithira, off the southern coast of Greece.
Vikki’s grandparents were Maria Venardos Chlentzos and Yiannis Alfieris. Terry’s grandparents were Yanoula Coulentianos and Diamandis Chlentzos.
The Chlentzos and Coulentianos families were primarily from the small town of Christoforianika, while the Alfieris family was from the nearby town of Potamos.
