Introduction
The Alfieiris Family originated from the small island of Kythera off the southern coast of the Peloponnese in Greece. My grandparents, Yiannis and Maria Chlentzos Alfieris, immigrated to the USA in 1906 and 1907 respectively. Some of Yiannis’ relatives remained in Greece, while others immigrated to Australia, Egypt, Spain, and England.
The collection of data contained on these pages has been a collaborative effort amongst the many family members spread out throughout the world.
