Mr. Saito and Kenji Shibua defeated Pepper Gomez and Pedro Morales for the American Wrestling Alliance World Tag Team Title; the title was renamed NWA World Tag Team title in 1968 when Roy Shire was allowed to join the National Wrestling Alliance.
