Walter "Killer" Kowalski was one of the presenters of the award to Don Leo Jonathan. They were frequent opponents in the ring, but they behaved at the banquet.

This is Dr. Phil Nyutten, Don Leo Jonathan's partner in their deep-sea diving interests, who was the other presenter of Leo's award. At the Baloney Blowout on Friday night, Dr. Nyutten presented a very interesting video about Don Leo Jonathan's career and accomplishments after wrestling, in his deep sea diving business, DJL Enterprises, Inc. They do marine construction and manufacture high-pressure water jetting devices. Don Leo Jonathan became interested in diving while in the U.S. Navy. Dr. Nyutten was a really nice guy -- I rode in the elevator with him and his wife a half dozen times I think, and we talked about diving and submarines, because I used to live on a submarine in the U.S. Navy. It was a very good presentation. I don't know why Bobby the Brain is giving me the evil eye in this photo.

Don Leo Johnathan accepts his award and talked about his career in the business. If you look closely, you might also recognize him from The Little Rascals. When Leo was six years old, he was a movie star, in the Our Gang Comedies produced by Hal Roach.

Marie C. Johnson, Tito Montez's sister is believed to be the first non-wrestling family member to present an award. Along with Dean Silverstone, she presented her brother with his award. The recipients are asked who they would like to have present their awards, and Tito picked his sister because she has been so important in his life.

Tito Montez thanks the members of CAC for his award and talks about how he started in the business. Behind him is Bobby Heenan and his other presenter, Dean Silverstone.

I probably don't need to tell you this is Dick Beyer, "The Destroyer," with Professor Mike Tenay. The Destroyer and CAC President Red Bastien presented an award to Moose Morowski.
