Stan "The Crusher" Stasiak and The Masked Gladiator (Ricky Hunter) were matched against Peter Maivia and Earl "Mr. Universe" Maynard in a Sacramento Memorial Auditorium match. As Maynard throws a punch into the Gladiator, Peter Maivia punches Stasiak from outside the ring. The referee is Larry Williams, who was still wrestling in 1970 when this match took place.

But the fighting started up again. Peter Maivia and Stan Stasiak were exhausted though, and couldn't get on their feet, so they traded punches until they both dropped.

This time Earl Maynard has a leg lock on Karl von Brock (Rock Hunter.) I guess he liked that leg lock! The referee is Dean Denton. This is also a Sacramento match.

Ray "The Blonde Bomber" Stevens and Pat Patterson had some incredibly tough matches against each other. After years of working together as one of the toughest and meanest (but most successful) tag teams in Professional Wrestling history, they broke up the team. The rivalry between them after the break-up was as bitter and destructive as any in wrestling history. They were both bent on crippling the other, and the matches between Pat and Ray were some of the best we ever saw. This was taken during a Texas Death Match at the Sacramento Memorial Auditorium in 1971.

I bet you didn't think I would post one of these but here is a photo of Hank Renner and Viktor Berry (with the hood) on Big Time Wrestling. OK, I'm awake now does anyone know who this masked man is? Is he the Medic? I'm pretty sure we had a Medic for a short time. Does anyone agree with that??

Crazy Luke Graham came to Roy Shire's territory in late 1972. He is choking Antonio somebody. (See the photo below of Miss Wrestling's Winner's Board I can't read the last name.)

The wrestler sitting on Rocky Johnson's throat is Fritz von Goering. That is Bobby Christy coming through the ropes at Channel 40. The referee is Jack Hollingsworth.

This is Beauregarde, who was just thrown into Miss Wrestling's Winner's Board.

This is another wrestling program I started printing in 1973, called Wrestling International. I am posting it here because there has been some discussion about Kurt and Karl von Brauner (shown here with their manager Gerhardt Kaiser) on the "Wrestling Legends" mailing list and I want to find out what the real name is of the wrestler on the left. On the right is Red Donovan. Please let me know if you recognize the von Brauner on the left. Is it Jimmy Brawner? (I'm pretty sure I remember that name from one of his paychecks and remember my surprise that his real last name was so similar to his wrestling name.)
This program was sold at San Francisco's Cow Palace on March 9, 1974, so it was printed by my brother, Erik Berry. Here is the card from that evening:
