For those who wish to meet up with me while I am in Cape Breton, these are my current plans, based on what I know at this point; I will make updates as more information about other events becomes available. I have tickets to all of the festival events shown in the schedule below and expect to attend all of them. Once I am on the road and unable to update the web site, I may still alter my schedule as circumstances dictate.
Times in the US are EDT, while those in Cape Breton are ADT; an hour is lost going from the US to the Maritimes and an hour is gained in going from the Maritimes to the US. The time given for an event is normally its scheduled time. Time ranges in red, however, indicate the time during which I expect to be present at an event and not the time of the event itself: on days with a crowded schedule, I may have to leave early or arrive late; in all those cases, the scheduled event time range is longer.
Most weekdays I will be out looking for photo opportunities, roaming the back roads, or hiking; unless there are no other scheduled events on a given day, I have not shown these activities here, as they are very much weather- and location-dependent.
I am not committed to the end of this schedule; if the weather is decent, I may return later.
Many thanks to Mike Little for his fine events listings at the cbchoices web site, which greatly assists in preparing a trip schedule such as this.
