Dear Sister Roylance;

I am a grad of the class of '56 and visited your site today. I really enjoyed viewing the pictures of your family. You may remember me as the son of Fred and Mary Day of the Provo Fifth Ward when we were growing up. Gloria Austin is my sister.

When I saw the pictures of Wales, I thought about my Father who was born in Cardiff in May 1900. I have visited Wales as a missionary and more recently with members of my family doing family history. We stayed several nights in Cardiff and loved the area.

Have a happy and healthy New year,

Paul F. Day.

Hi Venita!

I couldn't resist looking at your homepage once I knew you were a Mac person. Very nice indeed! I live in Concord Ca--graduated from high school the same year that you did, work at the Concord Family History Center and am on the board of Directors for DVMUG. I am heading for Macworld conference tomorrow. Generally speaking--I hate windows although I had to suffer with it at work for years.

Hi Venita

Thanks for your reply about Pioneer Ancestors on FHCNET.  I appreciate all of your comments there.  All of our lines (both my husband's and mine) are early [Utah] Pioneers ... I have gleaned some information from World Misc, and thanks for that reminder to go there again! :)

You are an inspiration to me and to the whole FHCNET group!  Keep up the great work!

Hi Venita,

Your photos bring back wonderful memories of our trip to Aberystwyth in 1997.  Two of my sisters and I were there to find where our ancestors lived and to do some research at the library.   It was just so thrilling to think that we could really be in Wales!!!!   We met John Ball when we were there.  We are related to him a few generations back (my sister Sunda ___ is the one who knows all of the information).  My sister Sheryl ___ and I were along for the fun and to help Sunda as much as we could.  My favorite thing to do was to take photos.   We stayed in dorm rooms at the University and that was great fun too.   Thank you for posting your photos for us to see.

Sincerely,

Hi!

Your photos of Fillmore are great.  I was there this weekend but was too sick to take very good photos.  I am making a genealogy cd for family use, not for sale, on three Danish families of Fillmore.  Could I use some of your photos in the cd if you are given credit?

Thanks

Thank you so much for those lovely photos, of a place where I have not been since 1962 [Aberystwyth]. I have always wanted to return.

I was living in Coventry as an au pair in 1962 and the family and I took a trip to this charming beautiful place. I was 17 and even met a very handsome local fellow. We had a very difficult time communicating – he spoke very little English. Now that I am getting older, I would love to visit this town again. I have been living in the US/California since 1963 – moved here from Germany after my stay in Coventry.

Anyway, this is a very long way to once again say THANKS,

Sincerely,

Marianne Netze

Very, very, amazing genealogy web site! ... I don't think I have many photos that you don't have on your line but I would to share any I have with you and make photocopies of the ones you have from my line if that's okay. I am also related to John Pack but couldn't tell quickly if you had any ties that way (that's how I found your site though was searching for "john pack")... I can let you know exactly which photos I may have that you don't, first of all, if you would like. I have a printer that will make quality photo copies and enlargements that I could bring and copy yours in a few minutes.

Please let me know if this may be a possibility.

Thank You,

Brad Pack

You take such great pictures.  Do you mind if I use these pictures in a family genealogy CD I am doing?  It will not be sold just given to family members.  Hans Hanson helped build Cove Fort. May I also use your picture titles for my family cd? I sure appreciate that you took these great pictures!

Dear Venita

Just doing a bit of research and found your lovely site. I am related to Richard Pott 1659 who had a son Robert Pott 1704. They were from Elmsted in Kent and I am from Kent myself. I now live in Carmarthen Wales and noticed that you also had family from the hamlet of Myffai. I actually work in Myffai. I live in as a care-taker four days per week. It is a really beautiful area and Prince Charles has recently bought a house in the area. Such a small world is it not.

Best Wishes,

Sandra Webling

Hello...I've just come across your phtographs of Pen-y-Wern farm, and found them very evocative. I was born and raised in Cwmtwrch and I recall the property shown, having visited/explored these very ruins as a youngster. I fished the reaches of the river Twrch pictured in these beautiful photographs, and when I say 'fished', the fishing was done by hand, literally in the sense that one 'guddled' or 'tickled' for trout by hand, locating, stroking gently, and eventually grasping the fish under one of the boulders shown. Those were heady days for me, and I thank you for prompting me to re-visit them. I now live in Western Canada, and on Thursday next, I leave for a short visit to see my sister and her family who still live in the area. I may be able to re-visit Pen-y-Wern. Thank you also for the photographs of Aberystwyth... I spent my undergraduate years at the University College of Wales at Aberystwyth.

Thank you for displaying my father’s(Richard Muhlestein) artwork. It is one thing he is extremely proud of. I haven’t showed it to him yet but I will in the morning.

Again thanks,

... Leland Sowards is my grand father.  I spent summers helping my grandmother on the family ranch in Vernal, UT.  I have some family pictures I think I could share as well as a history written about the first sheriffs in Vernal about William Gibson my great, great grandfather.

I love this web site!

Venita

I loved your pictures.  What a wonderful world we live in - if only we could enjoy nature and cut out wars and all the bad bits.

Thank you, I will enjoy this for a while to come.

Happy Christmas and a happy, peaceful and healthy new year.

Wow! I was just doing some general searches on the internet and I found your site!! I'm just beginning genealogy.  My parents were divorced when I was a baby and I don't know much about my dad's side.  I searched his dad ... and found your site... Your site said I could obtain a gedcom of this line.  If you could, I'd appreciate the information on them and their ancestors.  My mother-in-law is deep into family history and will help me with the information you send.  Thanks so much!
