How in circles we tend to go. Today I had an email from my sister who is as involved in family history as
I am and of course, as you might remember from the ill fated Welshkin, we have Welsh history in our
blood too. Anyway, she said she'd found this wonderful web site with photos of Wales and gave me
your address. It's progressed quite a way since you got started and the photos are just beautiful.
Congratulations and thanks for keeping it up, Venita. How are you doing?

Dear Venita Parry Roylance:
Just wanted to tell you I stumbled across your excellent homepage. Well done! My wife's family
also came on the Forest Monarch as part of the early LDS Danish emigration.
You might want to consider also backing up your family history information as well as further
promote your website to others. To do so, it is very easy to also put up your basic genealogy data
at Rootsweb's WorldConnect Project ... Again, congratulations on all your hard work.
Cordially,

Venita-
Loved your pictures of Aberystwyth. My sisters and I stayed there this past
summer in a little B&B named Glyn Garth. We loved it...your pictures captured
the city nicely.
We had a fruitful visit to the National Library and also to the County
Records office as well as the public library there in Aber.
Our grandfather was also born in Wales-in Taliesin just a little north and
east of Aber. We rented a car and drove around-quite a challenge. My great
grandparents were from Taliesin and also the Capel Seion and Dolypandy areas.
Don't know if any of those ring a bell with you.
Anyway, thanks again for the wonderful viewing experience.
Sincerely,
Melody Schloss

I've just visited your web page. Glad to see you enjoyed your visit to Wales. It's surprising how many people in the world are unaware of our small little nation. Nice to see you've given my book a mention. Hope it fuelled your imagination and helped to set the scene on our remote, mysterious and sacred places.

Hello Venita,
What you are proposing [Just Picture It - Scotland] sounds excellent to me. Being so
far away I love to see photos of the homelands. I have bookmarked those
urls you sent as I have Welsh forbears on my husbands side to research
but the Danish site I bookmarked because I love to look at beautiful
places.

Venita,
I have thoroughly enjoyed the photos on your site. Many of them are quite beautiful. Especially liked seeing the photos of the old farm ruins. We have never been to Wales, live in the USA, but the old (Thomas) family farm is in LLanddeusant, Carms.
I imagine at this point that it looks something like your pictures.
Thanks for sharing.

I am 76 years old, and have travelled quite widely all over Wales and taken many photographs.
I was introduced to your wonderful pictures both of camera and words by a friend who also knows Wales
pretty well. Having watched and read your descriptions we both agree that we are that much richer
for having done so.
A sincere thank you and assurance that your rights will be protected by those of us who have
been delighted by your efforts. Thanks again.

I went through your web site and it was so wonderful. I have genealogy in
Wales and Denmark. The pictures you had on Wales help me to decide to set a goal of visiting there
in the next 2-3 years.
I have "hiraeth" and want to find where my people lived, worked, played, and died.
Thanks. You lit a fire in my soul.

To The Wonderful World,
I am so blessed for Venita is my Aunt and you have experienced but a bit
of her love for life, family and her church. She has a way of touching life
for good.
Each picture in a way is a self reflection of her love to share her life
and world with others. Venita you are GRRRRREAT!!!!
By the way I am named after my beautiful Aunt and every time I visit this
site I discover something new we have in common. Teaching and photographer
are just two areas we share a passion in!

Hello Venita,
I've been lost in the beaututiful countryside, gently rolling seas and envisioned myself
wandering through the old castles of yesteryear. Your website is undoubtedly one of the most
informative and lovely tour of Wales that I have ever seen. My family came from Cwmtwrch and I
almost felt I was there going through the daily living.

I have been into your web site with the ancestors. I have not really dug into it in depth until now.
I'm impressed, you have done a lot. Thanks for all your hard work and the time you've spent on it.
It has been so fun to read and copy some of the histories and to see the pictures.

I very much enjoyed visiting your website, and will doubtless be back for more visits in the future.
I loved your photographs - they brought back many memories of my upbringing in Glamorgan. Thank you for sharing your wonderful photography with the world. I also want to thank you for the links to other sites of Welsh photographs. I have just spent a very enjoyable few hours looking at everything. Thank you again.

Thank you for showing Pen y Wern Farm on the net. My grandparents lived on a small farm near by, a place called Gellie.
My mother as a child was very friendly with the family living at Pen y Wern especially one of the girls, her name as we knew her was Mary Ann (Dderwen.) The year would have been around
1925/1935. I wonder if you have any more information off that area during that time.
Yours Sincerely
Reg Harries

I was doing a search on Google, and came across your .Mac homepage with all of your genealogy stuff. Very neat site!
If your still into genealogy and still using a Mac, I've setup a website, http://www.macgenealogy.org , that is geared towards Mac users who are into genealogy. Please don't take this as spam - I just thought I'd mention it, since genealogy information for Mac users is hard to come by.

Hi Venita
I stumbled on your site whilst
researching the Lambert Line.
Firstly I must say that yours is a very professional site.
I was interested to see that your line goes back to Joseph but then ends
around 1700. My own researches and input from others, has allowed me to
trace my line back as far as Sir Randolphus.
Of interest to you may be that I have Josias (or Joeph) Lambert born 1554 at
Kirkby Malham. He has a son Josias on who I have nothing. A son called John
(b abt 1584), from who I am descended. He also has a son called John, 35
years later with a different wife Ann Pigott who is the famous Major John.
Now I expect there is a good chance that son Josias' line leads down to
yours. I wonder if you have tried to go further up.
Kind Regards Andy

Venita:
I just finished your wonderful website which I found on the ReunionTalk site. I really enjoyed it
as I have been to many of the places in Utah and have visited Wales. About five years ago our church
choir traveled through the UK and sang at St. David's Cathedral in Wales. Our parish here in
Pennsylvania is also named after St.David's. Did you have profession guidance in creating your site?
I was really impressed with it and your photography.
Sincerely,

Hi, my name is Janna Kelly.
I came across your web page for Hans Larsen and Eline Dorthea Stromborg Bentzen last week and
found a listing for some of my relatives. George Robert Miller and Eva Mareta Hansen were my
great-grandparents. My grandmother is Wanda June Miller (Standley). I was sharing this information
with my father and we were wondering what your name is and how you are related...
I've been slowly gathering genealogy information and I'm very interested in any further information
you can provide, as well as additional web sites I can visit...

So beautiful your pictures. I hope to visit Wales some day whenever I can find out what part of

in the mean time I would like to concentrate on the area they came from. Just wanted you to know that
I do appreciate your pictures.

Hallo Venita,
Thank you for sharing your photographs. I had two magical holidays in Oxwich Bay when I was a

again and you have helped fulfil those yearnings. Many thanks.

Hello Venita,
Very interesting to see your photos at St.David's on your web. My Dutch father was her with my
mother in 1949 before marriage. Have a photo of dad taken on the steps of the palace ruins. Strangely
enough my father passed away this year on St.David's day. So you can understand that these photos of
you are very special to me.

Wow,
I idlely typed in "john pack" and came across your website and am very impressed and very grateful. I
did not have a photo of my great great Grandfather John Lambert, nor a good one of Adelia. I have
some family histories...I have downloaded the appropriate photos and hope they will print off for me.
Thank you for your time on this. It is a valuable work and very much appreciated.
