Oom Paul
history #2:
The Oom Paul shape and the Continental Army of the
USA
As you know Oompaul.com has a long history in the pipe
world, somehow dating back to the late 1700's, a good span
before the rest of the world even knew there was an
internet. As you can imagine, finding sponsorships and
benefactors was tough in those days. Documents held in our
guarded vaults miles under the Oompaul.com headquarters in
Auburn Georgia USA, hold countless secrets to the world's
powers through connected markets, governments, and
relationships which are all, in some way, shaped, held
together, and powered by the tobacco pipe.
One of our original members to the Board of Directors
served on the Second Continental Congress and while his
name is kept confidential, as has been the case with all
board members since it's beginning, he was a major player
in the politics of the US, as well as the a key figure in
many of the circles which held the real power…the pipe
clubs. In some of those documents dating between 1770-1790,
there are references made in correspondences between an
officer in the Continental Army under the command of
General George Washington and the (then) Oompaul.com board
member who will remain also nameless wherein the following
is found…
"By Uncle Paul and his powers in the southern regions in
and around the Cape of Good Hope, our leverage will be
great to keep the British from seizing this vital area.
Pierre-Louis himself has promised Oom Paul all the pipes he
desires so long as our strength in this endeavor endures."
As I'm sure you are aware, it did not endure and by 1795
was in the hands of the British. This reference to an
"Uncle Paul" is obviously not Paul Kruger who was not born
until October of 1825. It would not be for another
approximate 100 years after the birth of Paul Kruger that
parts of the Kruger family would move to the US and change
the spelling of their name from Kruger to Krueger. Some
speculate this may have been to distance themselves from
their predecessor, however, the new spelling could not hide
the terror that would later come from one of it's heirs,
none other than a certain Fredrick (Freddy) Krueger.
