CPU Configuration: 68030 16 MHz Apple's LC II used the more powerful 68030 CPU, whereas the previous model LC used the 68020. Unfortunately, Apple hobbled this potentially great computer to the same 16-bit data bus as the compromised LC and kept the RAM max at 10 MB. Although the LC II was a definite improvement over the original, it was still a seriously compromised design. The LC II is a Low End Mac Road Apple.
