Because 'it's all fun and games until someone loses an
iPhone™.'
Your iPhone was lost, stolen or damaged; now what?
Every time you sync your iPhone or iPod Touch to your computer, iTunes
makes a backup of many vital files on your device and stores them in a
special folder.
Learn more about iPhone backups
If your phone is no longer available, you can restore your most
recent backup onto a new iPhone or iPod Touch device using iTunes, but sometimes
that may not be possible or practical, for example:
- You will not be replacing it
- You will be using a different kind of device
- You will have to wait a substantial amount of time for repair or replacement
- iTunes refuses to restore from the backup.
You need your data now; hopefully your
Contacts and
Photos have been synchronized correctly,
but what of the
SMS messages,
Notes? Sometime you need your
Call
History for numbers that weren't added to your contacts. Are the images
in your
Camera Roll gone forever?
MSB can read your backup and give you access to all of these items!
Whether on a
Mac or PC, you can view your data in a single window with
an easy, iPhone-like interface.
The
PLUS features allow you to export
calendars,
contacts,
photos and
any file that can be read in the backup!
Of course, no one wishes for anything bad to happen; in fact there's
plenty MSB can do for you if even you still have your phone!
