MSB should work on any system (Mac or PC) that meets the minimum requirements for syncing an iPhone/iPod Touch.


How does it work?

Every time you sync your iPhone or iPod Touch to your computer, iTunes makes a backup of many vital files on your device and stores them in a special folder called 'MobileSync':


If you locate this folder, you will find hundreds, even thousands of confusingly-named files in different formats.
Normally, these files are only used in the event of a restore. MobileSyncBrowser (MSB) allows you to view and use this data at any time! You do not have to have your iPhone present or perform any hacks!

MSB can read your backup and give you access to your data. Whether on a Mac or PC, you can view your data in a single window with an easy, iPhone-like interface.
