Honored with the Best Director prize at the 2002 Cannes Film Festival,
for his 98th blockbuster movie Chiwhaseon , talented director Im
Kwon-taek has been invited to the Venice Film Festivals for his
latest silver screen success Raging Years and thus has the chance
to win the Golden Lion in the category for Best Film. Im's 97th
movie Chunhyang was also among the competing movies at the 2000
