A impoverished young girl living in Tel Aviv must struggle to balance her burgeoning love life with her devotion to her unstable mother in this affecting slice of life drama from filmmaker Keren Yedaya. Or (Dana Ivgy) is a popular high school girl on the verge of womanhood who seems to have everything going for her, but despite her best efforts to find her own place in the world she is always drawn back to her mother - a curbside prostitute who can't seem to shake her shady past. Though Or has made a noble attempt to provide for herself and her mother by signing on for the late shift at a local diner, the struggling teen's efforts seem to be in vain as the survival instincts of her self destructive mother continue to crumble. Now forced to choose between striking out on her own or continuing to cater to the needs of her morally bankrupt mother, Or must make a decision that will weight heavily on her conscience no matter which path she chooses.
