Produced by Hirokazu Koreeda of "Maborosi" and "After Life" fame, this film marks the directorial debut of Yusuke Iseya who starred in Koreeda's "After Life" and "Distance." "Kakuto" is about a group of three stoned-out young guys who obtain drugs for a Yakuza gang. Stoned as they are, they lose the narcotics before long, and thus begins their search for the lost stash which ends up being both an ordeal and a hysterical adventure
