Coming-of-age drama about a novice priest's fight for acceptance in the closed world he has chosen. On the outside, twentysomething Andrea (Christo Jivkov) has everything going for him, but after a personal crisis he decides to withdraw from the world and join a monastic order. However, once he enters the novitiate, a period of spiritual training observed by senior monks, Andrea's preconceptions of monastic life are shattered. Instead of finding a life of quiet introspection and prayer, Andrea's every move and thought are analysed by the priests, eager to find any flaw that would disqualify him from ordination.
