The Registry

Once you have selected a race and class, and you have read the Rules and Laws of Eventide Forum, then you are ready for the final step in character creation -- getting added to the Registry.

Getting added to the Registry is a two-part process. First, a prospective player must fill out an application for the forum, and that application must be read and approved by a Forum Council member. If the application is declined, the Forum Council member who read the application will send a message to the player indicating why they were declined and if they have an opportunity to re-apply.

If the application is accepted, then the prospective player will receive an invitation to an interview with several Forum Council members. The player will be expected to answer a few questions as well as demonstrate a few things both IC and OOC. Should the Forum Council members agree that everything is in order, the player's character will be added to the Registry, the list of official characters in the Eventide Forum.

It is important that any player wishing to be active in the Eventide forum get their character(s) added to the Registry. Although non-registered characters will be allowed in the public recruit halls, only registered characters will be allowed to hold bank accounts, trade for goods or services in the forum, gain experience, or participate in official forum storylines.

If a player has previously had a character deleted from the Registry for inappropriate conduct or breaking the Rules and Laws of Eventide Forum, that player will not be allowed to register any other characters in the forum -- Try to get it right the first time.
