I am hosting another art
show at the studio this weekend. It will be Saturday
night May 26th starting at 7pm. This time around we
are having a group show. I feel certain that the show
will be running well past 10pm. Come one, come all.

OneLight Indianapolis
I am packing my gear to
fly home to Atlanta after an amazing OneLight
workshop here in Indianapolis. Many thanks to
Nate and Amanda
for hosting in their
beautiful 1920's built home.

Shelly saw a pool at a neighbor's house and said she would jump in it if asked. It was 12:30am when we were shooting the photo above so I thought we might be pushing our luck if we hopped a fence. So we grabbed a water hose. And yes, two lights were used in the photo above.

Hello InterWeb! I'm Still Here!

"So Zack, you haven't
blogged in awhile (5 or 6 weeks). What's the deal?"
Let's see. I've been to San Diego, Oakland, Seattle, Vancouver, Washington DC, and I'm packing now for Indiana. In all the in-between spaces I've been shooting bands, artists, dancers, and chasing the big white dress every weekend.
And. Well. I'm packing my personal belongings in my house. Internet land, I'm going through a divorce.

I'll post at some point about this divorce process I'm going through. You think marriage is hard just wait until lawyers get involved. You have days that you wish that Mack truck would just cross the center line. But then you have days where you see hope for a better life ahead. For the both of you. A marriage doesn't fall apart in a short amount of time, for us it has been 5 or 6 years of, well....
So. Yeah.
ANYWAY... You'd like to see some pictures? Well it is pictures you get!
I just uploaded 280 images to this Flickr set of mine. My first edit for the Flickr upload was 465 images. I thought I should cut it down a bit. They are from recent OneLight Workshops (I put a lot from DC) and from jobs that have been in and out of the studio in the past 5 weeks. Well, from the shoots I can show. I've had a number of jobs where the client has 90 days exclusive usage and that includes web. In 90 days I'll post some more from those jobs. As I look at all those thumbs I realize there are about 3 jobs I have left out of this update. I have much to do.

So, my family appreciates your prayers as we go through this process. I have our first mediation date set for June 1 and I just put a deposit down on a house for a July 1 move in. Custody of our two boys is what really hangs in the balance right now. Still trying to figure that all out.
"Why is Zack so hard to get a hold of?"
Because I'm just trying to keep it together to get past this and on to life 4.7 or whatever version I'm currently on.
All is well. It's tough. It sucks. I ain't gonna lie. But by God's grace and mercy I'm making it through the day and into the next and it will all get sussed out in the end.
