Recharged & Ready To Go

Sometimes you need your
batteries recharged. I've been feeling that way for
some time now. I had a double header day today at the
studio. 2 jobs back to back and I was shooting both
of them. Today though I entered the shoots ready to
go. More so than any time in recent memory for me.
First up is Wendi. Wendi just graduated with a degree in architecture and wanted some portraits to commemorate this time in her life.

I'm most pleased with this portrait. So glad to have another tried and true Westcott RL3 softbox back in action.

Next up. Julie and John. A few months ago I donated a photo shoot to the Drop Dead Gorgeous charity event here in Atlanta. Julie and John not only made my shoot the highest bid item of the auction, they also made my freakin' day because I got to make this image right here.....

I've been wanting to shoot at this location for some time and today's sky was perfect for the spot.
I could feel the burn out phase hitting me earlier this year. I have a lot going on and I was always keeping too many irons in the fire. I made the very difficult decision around February to say no to a number of shoots. My eyes needed a break. This month marks the return of a full shooting schedule and I am ready to go!
Cheers,
Zack
