Gary Adcock is one of the founders of FCPUG Network - a national user group organization to promote Final Cut Pro and related applications for video professionals. He has been a commercial photographer, designer, and director. His hobbies include sky and scuba diving and glass blowing. In his "day job" Gary spends his time creating digital magic for clients such as Adobe, Target, CNN, Leo Burnett, NBA Entertainment, Pepsi, Sony and Sears. |

Pat
Fauquet is the Vice President for Programs for Washington Apple Pi and the editor of their monthly CD. When not at the Pi, she is the Senior Agent for Bob LeVitus in his Doctor Mac consulting business and does Macintosh consulting and training for small companies, individuals and schools in the Washington DC area. The mother of five children and grandmother to five, Pat is working on several editing and writing projects and hopes to see her first computer-related book published this year. |

Sarah Friedlander is a student at Rochester Institute of Technology majoring in New Media Publishing. Currently, Sarah is an Apple Campus Representative at R.I.T. and an active user group member. She has served two terms as Vice President for MacRIT, R.I.T.'s Macintosh User Group. When not sitting at her computer, organizing user group events or talking about Apple, Sarah enjoys playing flute/piccolo in concert band, eating sushi and hanging out with friends. Sarah is passionate to help advance the campus user group movement. |

Sandy Foderick is a founding officer and current president of AOL’s original user group, board member at the User Group Network and former Chancellor of AOL’s User Group Learning Center. She has met and worked with user groups across the United States and is president of Virtual Mac and member of Mini’App’Les’. When not busy with user groups, Sandy is a Professor of Humanities and a mother of four. |

Trish Huffman, Triangle Macintosh User Group. Trish left her career in the medical field to stay at home with her ever-expanding family. As Special Events Coordinator and MUG Producer at World Without Borders, the largest Macintosh chat site on the web, she works to bring user group events to the Apple Community Connection. Trish is Ambassador and vendor liaison for the Triangle Macintosh Users Group (TMUG) located in the Research Triangle region of North Carolina. |

Rick Ortiz, Maui Apple Users Society (MAUS), Maui, Hawaii. Rick is a long-time member of the Maui Apple User Society where he has served as president since 2000. Upon joining the group in 1997 he worked hard to help them build from 30 members to nearly 200. Rick owns and runs a Mac consulting business in Maui and is a continuing education trainer at the local community college. His previous experience was spent in the non-profit sector integrating technology with youth programs. |

Tom Piper founded appleJAC Macintosh Users Group in 1984 and has served as president for a total of 15 years. He has worked on newsletters, mail servers, educational sessions and web sites. In 1984 he established the first Macs in government agencies, and has continually supported expansion and integration efforts since then, extending even to public and parochial school training, planning, and tech support. Tom is a familiar face at Macworld Expo and UGU. He also manages MacQuest Consulting and proudly notes that his trilingual (Mac/PC/Linux) son has a career in computers. |

Lynn Poos became involved with Macs in the 1980s and is an Honorary Life Member of the Silicon Mountain Macintosh User Group, Inc. (SMMUG) in Colorado Springs, CO, the largest active Apple user group in the State of Colorado. He retired in 1993 after thirty-four years with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and moved to Colorado to "relax." He was chairman of the Juvenile Community Review Board for Colorado’s Fourth Judicial District until 1998 when Governor Owens asked him to chair the Juvenile Parole Board for the State of Colorado. He served in this position until December 2004 when the Governor accepted his resignation. Now living in Southern California, he remains active with SMMUG and the UGAB. |

Chris Saribay, Senior Editor of Macteens Magazine, has been interested in Apple user groups for as long as he can remember. Starting out with a Bondi Blue iMac on the sandy shores of the Maui Apple Users Society, Chris is interested in all that is Mac and all that is Apple. When not thinking about the vast quandaries of the Mac universe and the improvements that can be made to Apple User Groups, he enjoys graphic design and photography. |

Elsa Travisano, Macintosh User Group of Oneonta, NY (MUG ONE). Elsa has been a guiding force for MUG ONE in upstate New York for nearly twenty years. She currently serves as president and webmaster, and edits MUG ONE’s award-winning newsletter, Newsbreak. Her Mac-related reviews for Newsbreak frequently appear in other publications and on the web. Her husband, son and daughter are all avid Mac users. Elsa owns a Macintosh consulting business and is a certified member of the Apple Consultants Network. |

Macbeth Vannoy, of the North Coast Macintosh Users Group of Ohio, is first and foremost, wife, mom and Mac enthusiast, effectively off-track as a medical assistant. Continuing interest in self-enlightenment and fun led to volunteering at the local Macintosh user group after several years of serving on local school district technology committees. She has been heavily involved in NCMUG-OH's outreach program, collecting old computers and refurbishing them for donation to schools and needy families. Macbeth is in her sixth year of leadership at NCMUG-OH, serving as a third-term vice-president and review/vendor co-liaison. |

Warren Williams, AppleWorks Users Group/iWork Users Group, Ann Arbor, Michigan. Warren S. Williams is the co-founder and president of the AppleWorks Users Group and the iWork Users Group, the world’s largest computer user groups with thousands of members in the U.S. and 49 other countries. Dr. Williams, a Professor Emeritus of Educational Technology at Eastern Michigan University, has been using computers since 1965 and bought his first Apple computer in 1982. |
