MOJADA…(mo jah dah) is the new name for the organic funk rock outfit JADA
The perfect new name for the groovy 4 piece from Sydney’s Bondi Beach.
Following the successful Top 5 iTunes Chart position of their debut self titled EP, MOJADA release the single “Put your hand Up” Produced by Craig Porteils (Guns & Roses, Fleetwood Mac, Diesel, Shannon Noll)

MOJADA’s song “SACRIFICE” was given “single of the week” on iTunes.
Backing up their release with solid touring, MOJADA’s Signature sound, with three singers and sing along melodies, is turning new fans on all around the country.
While it seems most bands are recreating the dirty rock sounds of the 80’s, MOJADA, are looking at inspiration from artists like the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Stevie Wonder and the Doobie Brothers focusing on grooves, hooks and funky bass lines.
MOJADA have played rooms such as the Beach Hotel and The Great Northern in Byron Bay, and The Beer Garden on the Gold coast and The Metro in Sydney and have provided supports for acts such as Thirsty Merc, and Ash Grunwald.
They have also shared the main stage at the Easter carnival at Randwick races alongside The Whitlams and Killing Hiedi, and the Feel good festival with
Pete Murray and The Beautiful Girls.
MOJADA have appeared in Harper’s Bazaar alongside Alyssa Sutherland, and in the pages of Cleo Magazine alongside Thirsty Merc. MOJADA can currently be seen performing and interviewed on FOX 8’s surf and lifestyles program “RA” hosted by former Pro surfers Stuart Bedford Brown and Barton Lynch.
The boys have toured New Zealand, and West Canada, and have performed in charity concerts for the Breast Cancer Society, Cure Cancer Australia and Mission Australia at venues such as Taronga zoo in Sydney with crowds of 3000 strong.
MOJADA have also appeared live on programs such as Channel 7’s “The Big Arvo”, Nickelodeon TV, and the basement.com.au where they performed live via satellite.
