Overview of Jedi Academy Secrets
There is no reward for finding secrets in Jedi Academy - other than the items that aer hidden. Typically these include health and shield power-ups, which can be very welcome in the early levels. Of course, there is also the reward of conquering yet another aspect of this game, but the value of that is to you to decide ... Also, many of these secrets are a quick path to instant death if you don't make the jump - so save! Now on to the secrets.
Prelude 1 - Yavin Forest (0)
No Secrets
Prelude 2 - Yavin Training (1)
Secret #1
You enter a room with no direct exit, but a walkway above. While looking at the walkway support on the right, you will see your cursor change to the Force Power blue swirl. Move to that spot and push in the wall and collect the health pack (note - no 'secret area' indicated).
Tier 1 Level 1 - Mercenary Activity - Tatooine (1)
Secret #1
You have cleared some of the landing bays, and come back to the Raven's Claw. Look towards the alcove on the right as shown below, and jump behind the crates to find the secret
Tier 1 Level 2 - Droid Rescue - Tatooine (1)

After you enter the tunnels inside the building, you will come to the following 'Y' - follow the left path as shown, and you'll come tto a small secret room.
Tier 1 Level 3 - Emergency Assistance - Bakura (5)

As soon as you enter the front door to the facility, turn right and see the breakable grate with power-ups behind it. Hmmm...

After the door on the left side of the same troom is opened, you will need to go up stairs. Look under them.
Secret #3
After you make it outside and the section on the left explodes and you have to take out the guy with the e-web cannon (see first screen), take the lift behind the cannon down. Go around the pillar to the back and find the next secret area!
Secret #4
After you return up the lift, go in between the three large tanks and find area #4.
Secret #5
In the multi-level area where you find the final bomb, look for the generators (first screen). Go to the left side of them and work your way around to the back for the final secret area.
Tier 1 Level 4 - Merchant Rescue (0)
No Secrets. Just a word of advice ... don't ever stop moving while on the sand.
Tier 1 Level 5 - Cult Investigation - Correlia (3)
Secret #1
After you've cleared the first cars and hop to the next one, look back and down on the left side (first screen). You can either jump it (did I tell you to SAVE!?!) or go back to where you started and creep the right ledge (please tell me you saved!).
Secret #2
After you cross the 'tanker' car and jump to the next one, look back . You will see a lower level and can just hint the Ammo recharge station. Save, jump, and win ;)
Secret #3
When you are in the very front car and can end the mission by hitting the break, instead exti back out and ledge walk to the nose of the car (first screen). Jump up and walk back to your final first tier reward.
Plot Mission - Echo Base Level 1 - Hoth (6)

Nice weather! Some vacation - I'll kill Kyle for saying I'd appreciate something cooler after the deserts of Tatooine ... Anyway, resist the urge to hop on the Taun-Taun right away and turn around (first screen). Go looking for the secret at the back of the cave.

After you take out the crowd around the E-web cannon, you'll go to a cave and see one of Luke's old friends. The cave splits - take the right side to find the next secret.
Secret #3
When you enter the building and take the lift up, go through the the door - straight across from the elevator you'll see this clear wall. Push it down and go through to collect the goodies.

Before you take the lift back down, smash the grate on the opposite side and jump across to collect the shield booster.
Secret #5
After coming up the lift and exiting the building as shown in the first shot, turn left and go around the back of the building for another secret.
Secret #6
Have fun finding this one ... there are two ways I've found it. Follow the lights along the left side after you've taken out the guy with the E-web cannon, and eventually you'll come to a ledge and drop in to the secret. The other way is to go all the way to the Echo Base building, and then track back along the right wall. The picture below is from that angle.
Plot Mission - Echo Base Level 2 - Hoth (2)

When you come to the room with the ramp shown in the first screen, the main path is to the left, the secret area is to the right.
Secret #2
After you go through all of the medical areas and come to a set of doors as shown, go into the dark area on the right for the last secret of Hoth.
Tier 2 Level 1 - Rescue Mission - Nar Kreeta (3)
Secret #1
A typical smash the grate. After you've dropped down and dispatched the first wave of enemies, you'll see a room with pipes on the right. On the right side of this room is a grate-wall with a door. Saber it and collect the booty.
Secret #2
Apparently our friend Mr. Bad-Grammer-Chiss-Guy got a transfer from Nar Shadda. After saying hello - he's not in the mood to talk to Jedi anymore it seems, check the taps to the left behind the bar with Sense. You'll have to saber the wall to collect the large Shield booster.
Secret #3
You must do this before you free the last group of prisoners!!! Look out the tube where you entered. You'll see a bunch of rock outcroppings and a railed ledge on the left. This is where you want to go. But how? First, save NOW. You need to get to the very edge of the tube, and jump up, twisting and turning as you jump to end up on the top of the tube. You will likely die a few times trying this. The rest is easy. Jump rock-to-rock to the ledge, collect the goodies and then jump back. You might want to save again in case you do something stupid. Just edge backwards to the end of the tube, looking down. drop while moving forward so you don't fall to your death.
Tier 2 Level 2 - Meet Contact - Zonju V (0)
No Secrets ... Zoom Zoom.
Tier 2 Level 3 - Covert Operation - Kril 'Dor (2)
There are two secrets on this level. Both are related to the big building near the center where there are two elevators, up elevator on one side and down on the other.
Secret #1
You are on a catwalk below the catwalk that has a pipe under it. The elevator you can't switch from there is to your right. In front of you is what looks like a bulkhead which you can make a double jump to get to the top of, and collect some booty - check it with Sense if there is any question.
Secret #2
Go inside that building, and take the elevators all the way to the top. There are two window switches - one works and the other is fried. The working one opens the windows and you can walk the ledge around to where there is just the thin round pipe below you that leads to the building with the Comm equipment on top. Do a controlled fall down to the pipe (one level at a time) and cross it to collect some more goodies. When you cross back, you should continue dropping down ... it's safer.
Tier 2 Level 4 - Crime Lord - Coruscant (1)
Secret #1
After you've met your first assassin droid hiding behind that crate near a ledge, turn around and look at the building. Jump up on the ledge as far as you can and move to a small ledge on the far left as you face the building. Find some shields there.
Tier 2 Level 5 - Cult Investigation - Dosuun (2)
Secret #1
This is the one people seem to miss. You'll enter a bedroom. Turn around and see the containers over the door with the gap. Jump up and collect the stuff.
Secret #2
You'll enter room with some boxes, and a shield station partially visible. Blast the crate to jump the gap.
Plot Mission - Bast Castle Part I - Vjun (4)
Secret #1
From the start of level, instead of heading to that inviting cover, head down the ramp, and to the right, hugging the left wall until you get to some cover, which is where the secret area is located. Note, if you don't have Protect, hunting for secrets on this level is foolish ... ;)
Secret #2
You go through a Glass walled tunnel, and there is a slight opening between that tunnel and the next one. You can exit either side, but go left and find the secret in a breakable area on the small ruin area.
Secret #3
After you've found the previous secret, this is very close. Look back to the overhang you came from, and use the architecture to jump to the roof over the door.
Secret #4
OK, you have made it pretty far, and just taken out the troops manning the E-web. You're proceeding along the canyon, and the main path seems to veer right. You go left, and see the ruined entrance in the first shot. Jump up behind the right side for the secret.
Plot Mission - Bast Castle Part II - Vjun (4)
Secret #1
Whew! Nice to be inside, as Kyle says (especially when you're playing around with your power selection and forget to take Protect! :( ) Anyway, in this first room, before you head towards any corners, notice the AT-ST parked in front of the platform. Jump, Jump secret.

You and Kyle just split up and you come through the room with the troopers. The open door is in front of you, but you go left down the hall. See the pile of crates? The middle one moves (first screen), and reveals a grate (second screen) ... do I need to say more?

Half-way up the wind tunnel, find a ledge ... or, rather - ride the wind tunnel for a while until you get the right height to land on the ledge.

Kyle jumps up easily, but you have to go through the energy blast puzzle to get up to the next area. Once you meet him up top, go where he came from.

No secrets ... just twins.
Tier 3 Level 1 - Cult Sighting - Chandrila (4)
So you may notice I went to a different character for the rest of the shots - it is actually my previous (but not first) character, a light side Kel Dor. I didn't like the direction the last Jaden was going, especially after running around Vjun without Protect :(
Secret #1
Jump on to the platform where the guy with the concussion rifle was firing at you. Follow it back to the blocked stairway for the first secret area.
Secret #2
After you go through the first checkpoint and come into the open again, the main path takes you left - but the quest for stuff takes you right ... look over the ledge (first screen). Jump down and collect the secret.
Secret #3
From secret #2, hop down to the bridge and then look back up to where you started with Sense. You'll see a secret alcove under the broken bridge where you came from.
Secret #4
You're working your way up, and about to jump on a bridge and cross back over. You see a building-like structure on your side of the bridge to grab the rockets.
Tier 3 Level 2 - Cult Investigation - Tanaab (2)
Secret #1
You go down a long corridor, through a door and start another. At that junction there are two platforms - one on either side of the door. There is a secret area on the far platform (next to force field). Good luck ... I've made the jump exactly once ... got a picture of it ;)

When you get to the point of the level where you can see the the conveyor belt, instead of entering the control room, speed down the hall to find the secret room (and then turn around to find that the Rancor followed quickly and has you pinned in a confined area).
Tier 3 Level 3 - Dismantle Device - Yalara (1)
Secret #1
You make it through two fan areas and then get to an area where you see stone steps in front of you with the Shield and Ammo stations behind them. Before going up, look at the floor in front of you. Careful entering the hole - if you don't land on the cross-beam you'll lose health.
Tier 3 Level 4 - Force Theft Investigation - Byss (1)
Secret #1
Deactivate the tractor beam (another nice homage), and notice that there is a level below with some cool items. Drop down and grab them.
Tier 3 Level 5 - Weapon Destruction - Ord Mantell (1)
Secret #1
Find the room with the map of the planet. Standing at the planet, look at the crates next to the stairs on the left. Jump over them for your treats.
Cult Facility I - Taspir (3)
Secret #1
You've exited the first facility and are crossing the bridge, and get attacked. From where the cloaked dude was on the right, jump around the corner for the secret area.
Secret #2
You have crossed some open area, taken out some rocket troopers and a sniper, and are about to enter a new building. Check the right side of the building with Sense, and jump to the top platform to get some good stuff/
Secret #3
Working your way to the bottom of the next facility, look beneath the reactor with Sense, then jump down to collect the items. You can easilt jump back up from the other side of the reactor.
Cult Facility II - Taspir (6)
Secret #1
You've gone through the fire room & pipe room (both seem great places for secrets ... none there, though). After leaving the pipe room turn left and look up (first shot). Jump up to collect the large shield booster.
Secret #2
In the room where Alora taunts you for the third time, jump to the top walkway and look to the left from where she stood. If you use Sense, you'll see the items between the posts ... now how to get there. Jump to the pillar, and edge around. I thought you needed to long jump, but a couple of good falls tells me you just need a good regular jump.
Secret #3
Go behind the satellite dish for the secret items. Careful coming back ... lots of lava to fall in, and you will die ...
Secret #4
At the end of the long hallway, just before you enter the conveyer area, look up. There's a hidden area - use the pillars to help you get to the top.
Secret #5
You're in the big conveyer area and Alora has taunted you yet again. Control-drop all the way to the ground and look for a little drain tube opening containing roc
Secret #6
At the end of the conveyor area, you see a door to go through. Before you do, head down the stairs on the right for the final secret for this level.
Tomb of Ragnos I - Korriban (3)
Secret #1
After some battles, going down a bunch of stairs, you come to a point where you need to turn left to enter a large room. Before entering, turn around and look up. You'll need to execure a decent set of jumps (and probably, like me, fall once or twice) to get there.
Secret #2
After taking out the enemies in the big room with lots of pillars and platforms, and before you go through the hole in the back of the room, turn around and look up. Use a multi-jump to get up top, and the secret is in the center.
Secret #3
After going through the hole, the main path is to jump down using the beams. You want to jump up.
Tomb of Ragnos II - Korriban (2)
Secret #1
After you leave the temple and are in the ruins, head left and just before the big hole, look for left as shown. A relatively easy jump gets you some much needed shields.
Secret #2
When you are over by the Imperial shuttles and about ready to climb the stairs, look back toward the door you entered the ruins from and you'll see the broken pillars. Jump from pillar to pillar and you'll get to the secret area.
Non-Secret (but cool) Area
If you see the other broken pillars - to the right in the first shot from Secret #2 - jump to the top, and look to your right, you'll see a shield booster across this long jump. I used the 'Long Jump' to make it, but am not sure if it is needed.
