The Vixen was the refined replacement to the ageing Grantura, much as the Tucan was the replacement for the Griffith. The Vixen was a sucessful model that retained many of the positive features of the previous TVR models, while increasing performance, comfort, and generally making TVR more attractive to the public as a whole. The Vixen went through several iterations with the final one being a hybrid model that helped to usher in the M-Series cars. The Vixen 2500 was essentially a Vixen body mounted on a M-Series chassis and running gear. These cars were only produced in 1971 and are thus fairly rare.
