At long last, the IconFamily project has been freed from the merciless clutches of my chronic lack of free hacking time, and has a new home on sourceforge, where others will be able to contribute to it! (If you'd like to join the project as a contributing member, please e-mail me your sourceforge username and I'll get that set up.)
I've posted a welcome message in the project's public "Developers" forum, with instructions for downloading the source or obtaining it from the project's repository. In an attempt to be a bit more "21st century", I decided to set up a Subversion repository for the project instead of using CVS, which I'm hoping won't prove too much of a hurdle for potential contributors. I've finally switched over to using svn for my own projects and have found the benefits to be well worth the re-learning I had to do. (Garrett Rooney's "Practical Subversion", graciously loaned to me by a colleague, provided a helpful introduction to setting up and using svn.)
Thanks again to everyone who has pitched in bug reports, fixes, and enhancements over the years! I look forward to seeing the project continue to evolve!
