Loaded some Satriani into my Civic's CD visor and took a drive up the coast this afternoon, from Santa Cruz to Half Moon Bay. I made a point of having the Elph and tripod with me, and had no difficulty at all filling a 256M CF card with pictures and video clips taken at various points along the way... Somewhere north of Davenport I bouldered down to a narrow beach with a tidepool jetty inhabited by sea anemones and mollusks, and from there I watched the sun set as the surf washed over this tiny, fragile universe... California is just a breathtakingly beautiful place...

I'm still sifting through the 120 pictures but it looks like I may have lucked out with at least a few. :-) Hopefully I'll be able to make time to add them to my pics page soon.
