Blogging belatedly, following a much-needed week of vacation and subsequent week of playing catch-up!
WWDC was a bit more work this year, as I helped prepare and give a couple of the Cocoa talks, but was also a ton of fun (and I didn't even get to catch all of Stump the Experts! :-). It was great to see such an impressive turnout of developers interested in Mac OS X in general, and Cocoa in particular, and to get to meet and talk with a number of them. I remember well the days when it wasn't hard to name every Cocoa app out there from memory (many of them, like the Omni apps, started out as ports of well-established OpenStep projects). Now there are more interesting OS X applications, open source projects, and developer books and articles out there than I can find the time to keep up with.
With all the clever innovations people are contributing to the mix, the situation for OS X users and developers alike is bound to get better and better...
