"Work/life balance" has continued to weigh in a fair bit heavier on the work side of things lately. Meanwhile, various significant events have flown by that I feel I haven't had the chance to fully recognize.
My über-cool sister received her bachelor's degree last Saturday (yay!), and following a well-deserved break will be off to the Lone Star state next August to pursue graduate work in entomology. It's been one of the truly best things in life to watch her find her passion and follow it. As one who himself pursued a nontradiational path that ultimately led back to tackling the formal education thing, I'm one very proud and happy brother -- in general, and especially now. Way to go, Sis! =)
Meanwhile, I turned 25 the following day. ;^) The low-order bits seem to matter less as time goes by. (8 to 9 -- now that was a big deal!) I'm finding little time at the moment in which to reflect on the passage of another year, which in itself might be something to reflect on...
