Lions Club Project Bloom
The Fulton Lions Project Bloom team added beauty to a primary highway leading to the City of Fulton. Topsoil, mulch and numerous flowering plants were placed. Lions Len Kellogg, Carl Nylen, Steve and Margie Young, Jackie Zabrowski and Kevin Michaels (and his son, Ryan) worked very hard to help beautify an entrance highway to Fulton, New York. They planted many flowers during this Project Bloom Community Activity.
Working in cooperation with the City of Fulton Parks and Recreation Department, Lions removed brush, trees and vines that had overgrown in the park's north end basketball backstop and perimeter fence. Ruts on the baseball field were filled in with topsoil. The asphalt basketball court was re-sealed. The basketball backboard and rims were repainted. (Pictured at the left are Lions Bob Weston, Bob Stephens and Dave Guyer)
