So Friday we were hit with a lot of snow. I was up at my school for a newspaper meeting, and I left there at 3pm. It took me 1 hour to travel approx. 15 miles. I had to pick up the Goddess at 430pm so at this point in time I just decided to go to her work to get her. Well after I exited the highway it took me another 30 minutes to get to her work which is about 2-3 miles away. Needless to say I was in no mood to do much of anything when I got home. I guess that is what happens when a snow storm hits right about the time that rush hour is supposed to start. Now Friday we were supposed to head down to the Goddess's Dad's house to attend a birthday party for the Goddess's God-daughter/ our niece, but obviously that wasn't going to happen. So then Saturday came and we were going to see if the roads were ok and then decide. Well we left to go run a few errands in the morning and our parking lot hadn't even been plowed, this was at about 11am, and we got stuck. We finally got unstuck and went out, then decided to head down. So that is how entertaining my weekend was and I guess my excuse for not posting this weekend. But I am super happy because on the way back into town yesterday we stopped at the Apple store and got some more RAM so now I am finally at the 512MB that is recommended for OS X. We were going to get the Goddess an iPod Shuffle but they were all sold out, imagine that. So now today I have class this evening and I have to get some homework done, but I am just glad to be at home and relaxing.
