We went to catch the new "Harry Potter" film the other day. Even though I don't read the books, I always enjoy making time to catch the latest exploits of the wizardly lad, and I feel the movies have gotten better and better with each installment. This one was epic and dazzling, and made even better due to my having seen it in IMAX format. I want to see everything in IMAX, now!
While leaving the theater, we were offered free tickets to a PREVIEW of an upcoming movie. Remembering that Rich got to see THE PRODUCERS this way last week, I decided to ask what movie it was for.
"KING KONG". This Monday afternoon. My eyes lit. KONG? You mean the biggest movie of the Christmas season?!! It soon dawned on me that I had the day off and would be able to attend a screening!!! It turns out, we were told, that we were amongs the first audiences in the world to see it!
Since it's a preview, I am not permitted to write or tell a thing about it until after it opens in another two weeks.
