The briefest of reviews, but I'm a little distracted tonight...
Caught the new "Phantom of the Opera" movie last night. Could only think of one word to describe it... "Sumptuous". Beautiful to look at, astoundingly enthralling, followed the play very closely and bravely. Lovely star Emmy Rossum stole my heart in the first scene. She has an amazing voice. A great stage to film transfer. More thoughts to follow soon!
