I was just about to go to sleep and realized something: technology sure sounds better in this era!
A little while ago I hooked up my iPod to a set of speakers and set the timer on it so that it would wake me up with pleasant music of my choice, rather than the noise coming from a radio. I've been using this function for a few weeks, now. In fact, that was what I used to wake up in England.
Anyway, I also have it set on Sleep Timer so I could read and surf the net a while and listen to some of the music I had purchased in iTunes over the years. Well, it just occured to me how good that stuff sounds! I mean, this is way better than that huge CD stereo system I got in 1985, and there's no CD in site. Better than that, it's a wide variety of music . Some of it was even popular in 1985. But I didn't listen to it back then. It never sounded so good. |
